The Parade
Presented by the Rotary Clubs of Santa Maria and Nipomo, the Parade of Lights is a hometown holiday tradition focused on winter holidays and spirit of giving. We encourage participants to review our rules and regulations before submitting an entry application to ensure a safe, fun and happy night for everyone!
Street Closures
With the size and growth of this wonderful annual event, some select streets will be shut down to ensure a safe and fun evening. For a full list and detailed map of street closures, check the parade route page and see where the floats will be lining up and which corners will be blocked off.
How to Enter
If you or your organization would like to participate in the Parade of Lights, please be sure to review the general info of the parade and then fill out an application. We do have a limit on the amount of entries we can accept, but do also have a waiting list in case of drop outs.
